With a futuristic look, the DeepWay Xingtu is an electric and autonomous truck designed by Pininfarina.

The DeepWay Xingtu is a zero emission and autonomous truck created by the renowned coachbuilder Pininfarina.

In this way, this emblematic company that has manufactured well-known automobiles in the industry fully immerses itself in the world of cargo vehicles.

Its futuristic appearance allows to advance the characteristics of land transport in the coming future.

Likewise this work by Pininfarina is for DeepWay, a subsidiary company of Baidu, dedicated specifically to autonomous driving.

To move this truck, it mounts a large battery with a capacity of 450 kWh. Thanks to this, he could travel about 300 kilometers and thus move his 49 tons.

Meanwhile, a system for exchanging energy units has been devised instead of some mechanism for fast recharging.

Its futuristic and innovative aesthetics presents the Pininfarina seal. A rounded cabin and a wrap-around bumper allow a low coefficient.

Both the rear wheels and the trailer hide their wheels to provide better aerodynamic behavior.

Inside, the DeepWay Xingtu, maintains a high degree of technology with screens scattered throughout the panel.

Beyond that, it includes several devices to execute autonomous driving. It offers an infrared detector, eleven cameras, a LiDAR sensor and five radars, as the most relevant.

Created by the division of Pininfarina in Shanghai, China on DeepWay Xingtu has all the ingredients to become a serious rival to the Tesla Semi.
