Apple constantly renews its range of mobile devices which means that the rumors about its products do not stop. This is the case of the iPhone SE whose new version is expected to hit the market this spring 2022, just as the company has accustomed its users.
This terminal, which is the brand’s most affordable option, is expected to incorporate better components from some of its more expensive. Likewise, it is unlikely that its design will receive major changes, so its aesthetics should remain the same.
According to various portals that follow the latest news on Apple products, the new version of the iPhone SE will bring a 6.1-inch screen with reduced borders. This would mean a considerable increase considering that its predecessor only has a 4.7-inch IPS LCD panel.
However, analyst Ross Young points out that this 6.1-inch version will not see the light of day until the middle of 2023. The expert maintains that the screen of the equipment that Apple will present this year will maintain the same panel as the iPhone SE launched in 2020.
As it is a cheaper device, it is not expected that the iPhone SE (2022) will integrate the facial recognition function called Face ID to unlock the phone. Therefore, unlocking must be done using the Touch ID button.
Next SE model is rumored to be called SE+ 5G and will have a 4.7″ LCD. Previously said the next SE model, SE3, would either have a 5.7″ or a 6.1″ display. May be launched in 2023 rather than 2024.

Young adds that the name of the new phone will be iPhone SE+ 5G, since it will include the type of network to which the device can connect. Should this come to fruition, it would be the first time in the last 15 years that Apple has appointed a device in this way. The last time something similar happened was 2009 with the launch of the iPhone 3G.
In the section of the memory that will include the terminal it is speculated that two versions will be produced, a basic model of 64 GB and another of 128 GB.
Another of the most important sections on which there is still no consensus among experts is about the type of sensor that the device’s camera will include. This could be 11 megapixels, similar to the iPhone 11 and the iPhone XR.
Everything points to the iPhone SE+ 5G will hold the title of being the cheapest phone with an entry price that can be located in the range of $400.
