After a 2021 full of successes, there is currently a lot of uncertainty with the next step for Saúl Álvarez . There is nothing clear about the Mexican boxer’s next rival, but reports are beginning to indicate that the possible new fight for the Guadalajaran could generate displeasure in some sectors of boxing.
This was announced by the analyst and journalist Salvador Reyes in a statement for ESPN Knockout, compiled by Izquierdazo. Reyes assured that the next step that Saúl Álvarez will take could generate discord among boxing purists.
“ My dear Andrés, your mouth will drop when you hear that surprise they have ready. I’m just going to give you a hint: maybe many boxing romantics and purists don’t like what’s coming ”, the journalist stated.
Who will be Canelo Álvarez’s rival?
To continue with the uncertainty, analysts began to mention names of possible rivals that could be measured against Guadalajara. Among them is the option of Benavidez, but this would be ruled out because clearly would not upset any “romantic” of the discipline.
