A pregnant Nicaraguan woman was rescued from the cold waters of the Rio Grande by members of the Fire Department and Civil Protection of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, north of Mexico.
She is a migrant who is almost eight months pregnant, so the scene became doubly dramatic, being trapped between the icy current of this river that divides the border between Mexico and the United States.

Fortunately, she was saved and transferred to a hospital of the Mexican Red Cross for better care, remaining the case available to the Immigration authorities, where it was confirmed that her baby was fine .
