The tennis player Novak Djokovic faces the Australian Justice this weekend and could be deported. Meanwhile, the political leaders and representatives of the State, joined by some of the media, agree that the presence of the Serb in his country is generates problems.

The minister of Immigration of Australia, Alex Hawke, exposed through a document of 258 pages submitted to the Melbourne Federal Court, the reasons why Djokovic should be deported.

“The continued presence of Mr. Djokovic in Australia may lead to an increase in anti-vaccine sentiment generated in the Australian community, which could lead to an increase in unrest civilians”

Alex Hawke

The tennis player, number one in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), the governing body of that sport, has not been vaccinated against COVID and has even left comments of doubt against the serum against the coronavirus.

Although he has not openly admitted it in public, he is long in answering the direct answer and just saying “I am immunized” give clear evidence that he is not vaccinated.

“I have considered the fact that Djokovic is a high-profile unvaccinated person who has publicly indicated who opposes getting vaccinated against COVID-19”, writes Hawke.

The 058 % of the population of Australia has already received the full schedule of the drug and advances the administration of booster doses, although there are thousands of other people who speak out against the serum, in addition to the harsh restrictions to avoid cases.

The truth is that less than 24 hours to the start of the Australian Open it seems certain that Djokovic will not participate in the tournament and will not be able to revalidate his title (he won in 2021).

In the capital Melbourne there have been registered manifestations, two according to the postures in play. On the one hand, the Australian anti-vaccines who support Djokovic’s stay and his position of applying the drug, while the other party is in favor of the sovereignty of their country in not letting the tennis player enter their nation for breaking the rules.

The trial unfolds, Djokovic’s lawyers face the Australian government and the history does not seem to end and will deliver new episodes in the next few hours.
