The Argentinian Paulo Dybala promoted this Saturday the win by 2 -0 of Juventus against Udinese in the Italian Serie A, but did not celebrate his goal, amid the controversies over his contract renewal.
La Joya scored the 1-0 goal in the minute 19 with elegant control and a powerful left foot to the bottom of the net. He did not smile or celebrate with the rest of his teammates and sent a serious look towards the tier of honor of the Allianz Stadium, where the youth board was sitting.
The Argentine, whose contract expires next June, still does not renew his bond
A contract renewal that seemed well on track was enveloped in doubts after the statements of Juventus manager Maurizio Arrivabene in the run-up to the Italian Super Cup lost by Juventus last Wednesday against Inter:
“We had said that we would see the players in February to see the results achieved. Everyone has to earn their place and prove their value. Everyone has to do their job, from the players to the managers, and they are judged for what they do”
The Argentine forward responded with his goal this Saturday , in a match that Juventus sentenced in the second half through the American Weston McKennie.
Massimiliano Allegri’s team is fifth, momentarily tied with Atalanta, fourth, although with two more games.
