Héctor Parra was arrested in June 2021 after being denounced by his youngest daughter, Alexa, for sexually abusing her when she was a minor. Although the actor is still under investigation in the eastern prison of Mexico City, his ex-partner, Ginny Hoffman , has obtained a victory by being acquitted of a complaint filed against her derived from the same case.
Through a statement, Ginny Hoffman’s lawyer stated that the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office determined that it did not find enough elements of evidence to start criminal proceedings against his client for alleged family violence.
“We inform that the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office has determined to resolve the Non-Exercise of Criminal Action in the file initiated by Mr. HEPG against Mrs. Ginny Hoffman , because it concluded that no conduct was found that constituted the crime of Family Violence “, reads on the first p document art.
Likewise, they welcomed the fact that the Public Ministry has conducted the investigation “ under the principles of legality, objectivity, impartiality, efficiency, professionalism, honesty, loyalty and respect for Human Rights“, for which he concluded by reiterating his trust in the Mexican authorities in order to achieve justice for the Hoffman family.
According to the lawyer José Luis Guerrero, the complaint for Family Violence against Ginny Hoffman was filed in October of 2020 after a series of statements made by the singer in various media about the alleged conduct of Héctor Parra.
However, the legal specialist assured during an interview with the program ‘Ventaneando’ that has not been notified of said ruling, exposing that he found out about it through social networks so he could not be sure exactly what was coming, although he is willing to challenge the resolution.
