A scientific committee advising the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) approved a recommendation for booster dose of Pfizer COVID vaccine – 19 to minors between 12 and 19 years.
The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), an independent body from the CDC, supported with and one against expanding the recommendation of the booster dose to adolescents of those ages.
