Is this the DeLorean DMC-12 of the 21st century?

By: Driving.com

The DeLorean E is a work of the designer Onkar H, which allows fans to get excited with the return of one of the most recognized of the cinema.

A 40 years of its creation on DMC – 12 has returned (or at least digitally) thanks to the imagination of Onkar H , who has resurrected him under the name DeLorean E .

This vehicle has no direct relationship with the model created by John DeLorean at the beginning of the years 80, it is more of a design exercise.

Of course the success of the original vehicle is due to the Back to the Future trilogy, where he allowed this coupe to become a time machine.

Based on this DeLorean E bears certain similarities with his ancestor or at least that indicates the se front ctor.

The render shows elongated LED headlights and a bumper with a spoiler that extends wide to the ground.

As for the sides, the characteristic doors are no longer visible and some aerodynamic wheels stand out. Its rear part is the one that differs the most with a more voluminous bumper and headlights that recall the original shapes.

The roof deserves a separate paragraph since it does not have the traditional door opening but to enter the DeLorean E it will be done through its integral glazed cover.

Inside the cabin it maintains an advanced stamp with an octagonal command and a panel in glossy black. In the center and vertically, a multimedia screen could be located.

Brown has also been chosen for the sports seats and the steering wheel to provide a more elegant style.

Finally the Delorean E would have four powerful electric motors (perhaps housed in each of the wheels) along with a battery pack located in the center of the vehicle. No figures or benefits have been released.

This particular work makes clear the desire of the public to enjoy this classic vehicle again.
