“I don't remember what I did about what they tell you”: Hispanic grabs her boyfriend with bottles and claims not to remember him
TEXAS – A Hispanic woman was arrested in the Laredo area for severely hitting her boyfriend on the head with a beer bottle, according to the authorities.
Diana Parra was arrested on 20 from December. The 28 year-old woman faces charges of aggravated assault with deadly weapon.
According to the boyfriend’s complaint, his wife attacked him in a residence located on the 400 block of Albany Street.
An officer who appeared at the scene said that upon arriving at the residence he found a man bleeding and several broken beer bottles in front of him in the patio area of the house.
The man stated that his girlfriend left the scene after hitting him during an altercation that broke out during the afternoon.
The victim said that Parra was upset when she found out that he had been drinking with one of his friends.
Parra allegedly got on top of him and started hitting him. When he went out to the patio, the victim turned his back on Parra and it was at that moment that the woman hit him with a beer bottle on the head several times until it broke.
The woman left the scene when she saw the blood.
Laredo Police spoke with Parra after the incident and she told them she did not recall attacking her boyfriend with the bottle.
Parra stated that she remembers being upset after her boyfriend had allegedly been drinking with another woman and that she (Parra) had pushed him during the altercation, but she assures that she does not remember the bottles.
The Police said that Parra admitted to having seen blood and that was why he left the place, but that he does not remember hitting the victim with the bottle.
Parra was arrested and imprisoned on 20 December at Webb County Jail with a bond of $ 25, 000, same that he paid the same day.
