WASHINGTON – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) lowered the prevalence rate of the Omicron variant in the country with respect to other strains of the coronavirus as the delta.
In updated data on its website this Tuesday, the CDC points out that in the week of 19 at 25 December infections by Ómicron led to the 60. 6%, but cut the estimate of the previous week, in which they now indicate that omicron was responsible for the 22. 5% of new infections.
