Miami Dade Police are investigating why a teenager rushed from the cruise ship MSC Seashore when returning from a five day trip across the Caribbean on Wednesday of last week. In fact, the young man lost his life.
Chris Thomas , Miami Dade Police Detective reported that so far no suspected criminal act
MSC Cruises, the line that manages the ship, did not identify the teenager, but did say that he was traveling with his family and that “ appears to have died by suicide ”.
“Our team immediately notified the authorities and treated the family of the young man on board. Everyone at MSC Cruises is devastated. The family remains in our thoughts and prayers, “said the firm in a statement.
Some passengers posted videos on social networks in which moments of panic are seen , and the “man overboard” alert on the boat.
