The mother of the minors was identified as Anne Zulia Yofree , of 36 years, from Haiti, who He threw the 3 girls into the River Plank, fortunately the two smallest girls managed to be rescued, however, the oldest of the sisters lost her life.

According to the report of the Dominican National Police, the girls were helped by community members, Defense volunteers Civil and agents of that institution who mobilized to the place thanks to a complaint for what happened.
The authorities detailed that due to how cloudy the water in the river, it was impossible for them to rescue the older sister.
As for the rescued girls, it was reported that they are receiving medical attention in a public hospital known as San Francisco de Macorís, in the province of Duarte, where they were taken, according to local media.
As for the mother of The minors were reported to have been detained and that they will be brought to justice in the next few hours through the corresponding authorities.
The reasons for which the woman took so Drastic decision were not informed, but investigations are expected to continue.
