The Barcelona defenders Clément Lenglet and Dani Alves have tested positive for Covid – 19 and will not join this Tuesday at the start of the Barça squad’s training sessions after the Christmas holidays.
As reported this Monday by the Catalan club, which has already reported the two positives to the competent health authorities, both players “are in good health and they are isolated at home. ”

There are multiple teams affected by COVID – 19. Real Sociedad has 17 players infected by the coronavirus between their first team and the subsidiary, all of them detected during the Christmas period in the controls carried out by the Spanish club, so it is not ruled out that new cases arise in the next few days.
For its part, five players from the Cádiz first team have tested positive for COVID – 19 to which the team has undergone this Monday, the day on which training was resumed after the Christmas holidays. However, and despite the large number of infected players in the different teams, there is no talk of a suspension for the next day.
