Last Wednesday the British singer Chris Martin , leader of the rock group Coldplay offered an interview to Radio 2 by BBC , in which he announced that in 2025 will be edited which will be the last album of the band , later only to tour and some collaborations with other artists.

Jo Whiley , who interviewed Martin, later commented that I was not sure if the interpreter was joking or being very serious . Two months ago Chris expressed his desire to record with his group 12 albums and thus stop making music, but without stopping to perform in concert. Meanwhile, his most recent production Music of the spheres (the ninth in his discography ) debuted at number 1 on the English charts and in fourth place on Billboard , spawning the hit singles “Higher power ” and “ My universe ” (with Korean group BTS ).

The reactions of the fans of Coldplay have been found: while some assure that they will continue recording albums, others have commented that they could separate and then have a meeting to obtain very good dividends on a tour. Martin has commented that his wish is for the group to have a work routine like that of The Rolling Stones : “It would be great if we still continue to present ourselves to the 70 years; It would be wonderful, as long as there is someone who wants to come see us. ”
