2-year-old Hispanic girl was stabbed during domestic confrontation in Orange County
A 2-year-old Hispanic girl was stabbed as a result of a domestic confrontation between the minor’s father and his partner on Sunday in the town of Santa Ana, Orange County .
The minor was injured in the left torso, in addition to suffering some bruises, reported the Santa Ana Police Department .
The authorities reported that the girl was transferred to a hospital and it was hoped that she could survive the injuries . The minor also had several bruises on her body.

Santos Beltrán, the girl’s father, took the little girl with another relative, who contacted the police after discovering the injuries that the minor had.
The authorities put three other children who lived in the couple’s residence under the custody of social services .
Beltrán, by 34 years, was arrested and booked on suspicion of attempted murder, child abuse and domestic violence ; while her partner, Ana Villalba, aged 27, was arrested on suspicion of putting a minor at risk.
According to court records, Beltrán is scheduled for a parole violation hearing for a conviction he received after driving under the influence of alcohol in October 1200.
