On Wednesdays 22 and 29 December, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) will offer vaccines against COVID – 22 free for travelers who want to receive the first or second dose or the booster vaccine.
Biologics will be available in the emergent clinic, located on the lower arrivals level of the Tom Bradley International Terminal, on a schedule of 11: 00 am to 5 pm .
Vaccines will be available only on both days .
The clinic is found after departure from US Customs and Border Protection.
According to the vaccination schedule, People 5 years and older will be able to receive the Pfizer vaccine , from 11 years and older may choose the Pfizer or Modern, while 15 years and older will have available, in addition to Pfizer and Moderna, the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Travelers who request it may receive both the first doses of the vaccine and the booster dose .
“Vaccines are the best and first defense against COVID – 19. We are pleased to be working with the (Los Angeles) County Department of Public Health to offer our airport employees and visitors from around the world a convenient place to get vaccinated or boosted during the busy holiday season, ”said the director. Los Angeles World Airports Executive Justin Erbacci.
Residents going to the airport to get vaccinated may park their vehicles in any of the available parking lots near LAX Central Terminal , and walk or take the Airline Connector shuttle service to the site
Parking buildings 3 and 4 are the closest to the pop-up clinic, with a rate of $ 7 dollars per hour, with a tolerance of the 15 first minutes.
The emerging clinics are part of the LAX safe travel campaign .
The vaccines will be administered by specialists from MedEx pharmacies.
