After 13 years with the Tigres UANL , Jesús Dueñas will leave the auriazul team as part of the renewal they carry out within the squad and thinking about the next tournaments to be played.

Although in the first instance the Monterrey club and the player were negotiating on the extension of his contract, but there was no agreement because the midfielder was asking for a greater amount of money and his contract expired in the current month December.

Dueñas attended the university team rally to say goodbye to all his teammates before taking the established medical and physical tests.

According to information from local media, both the team and the player tried to arrange an extension for two more years, where one would only be by economic contract and the next would not have any income, nor guarantees of minutes played, but could receive some remuneration for achievements.

The latter did not convince Jesús Dueñas, who is a youth squad for the Tigres and everything seems to indicate that his future is linked to the project he leads Ricardo ‘Tuca’ Ferretti , with the Braves de Juárez.
