Los Angeles police chase ended in an accident against a parked car

A police chase in the city of Los Angeles ended the Monday morning when the escaping suspect crashed into a parked car.

The accident occurred in Pico Boulevard, in the Mid-City neighborhood .

According to reports from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) , the officers were pursuing a vehicle driven by a suspect who was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.

In a video disclosed on social media, the silver four-door car lost control and crashed from behind into a yellow vehicle that was parked .

The suspect, who was wearing a red shirt, got out of the silver car and tried to run away from the scene of the accident, but finally decided to surrender when a police patrol approached near the intersection of 4th Avenue and Pico Boulevard .

Two people in the impacted yellow car were injured.

Los Angeles police officers offered them assistance as Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene, and they were later transferred to a hospital as unknown persons.
