The Peruvian added his fourth consecutive defeat and Chávez assured that he is still far from his best level, with which he achieved the average world title of the World Boxing Council (WBC), in fact he was seen to suffer on more than one occasion against Zegarra.

The Sinaloa-born came from a fall to Brazilian Anderson Silva by split decision (77 – 75, 77 – 77, 75 – 75) and was able to claim victory, but the feelings it left were not very good.

Despite the complications he had in various sections of the fight, Junior assured that he feels much more focused and that he hopes to recover his best sporting level in order to have a fight for the world title and, in case of continuing to reap triumphs, get the great rematch against ‘Canelo’ Álvarez, listed as the best pound for pound in the world today.
