Forbes director testifies in probe of Trump and his fixation on listings

Randall Lane , director of the business magazine Forbes, testified this week before the jury that analyzes the evidence in a criminal investigation into former President Trump , and addressed the questions about the business practices of the former president and if he lied to look richer than he actually is .

Through an article on the Forbes website, Lane said it was questioned about the articles dating from 2015, in which he gives an account of the fixation of the former president with appearing in the annual list of the richest people .

He said he must have talked about an article he wrote in 2017, which was about value and size of the former president’s apartment located in Trump Tower.

So far, Lane’s revelation through her article serves as the biggest clue as to what Manhattan prosecutors are investigating: if the President committed fraud by inflating his wealth both for the magazine and before the banks, with the purpose of ensure better conditions to get loans.
