Last Thursday night, Alaska representative contestant Emma Broyles was crowned Miss America during the event that commemorated 100 years since the beginning of this beauty pageant . Who is the young woman who took the crown? Here we tell you.
Amid shouts and applause, Emma Broyles from Alaska triumphed in the competition was established as the winner among 51 contestants representing the 50 states and the District of Columbia in the competition held at a Connecticut casino.
In addition to the coveted title and warm reception from the public, the young woman won a university scholarship from 100 thousand dollars in the ceremony that celebrated the centenary of the start of the contest.
This contest was broadcast live on primetime television and this year it was only available to view through NBC’s Peacock streaming service.
