San Francisco authorities, seized more than 1, 543 pounds of narcotics and arrested 19 operators related to the drug dealer Ismael “ the May ” Zambada , leader of the Sinaloa Cartel (CDS).
These actions are accumulated since last summer in the operation Burnt Orange . The seizure area was the South Bay, where the narcotics arrived from Mexico , reported David Anderson , federal prosecutor of Northern District of California and Daniel Comeaux , Division Chief of the Drug Enforcement Administration ( DEA ) in California.

In operation Burnt Orange 44 persons were charged for these acts, however, only 19 of them are in custody, since 13 were released prior to trial and 12 continue to flee .
In a conference, the authorities identified the Sinaloa Cartel as the faction related to the seizures, including methamphetamine in the past 27 d January in Sunnyvale considered the largest federal drug seizure in the history of the Northern District of California .

The main operators were identified as David Campoy of 46 years and his son José Melchor Campoy of 21. Campoy (the father) was the one who established contact with the association of Mayo Zambada and brought methamphetamine to Northern California, where it controlled the market. In turn, it had operators to the south of the border state with Mexico. Both were arrested in January this year and were assured 527 pounds of methamphetamine, heroin and 16 firearms.
Together with them, they are accused David Wilcott Greenman , Kimberly Carrasco , Lamberto (Mexican citizen whose last name is currently unknown), Juan Carlos Velázquez Ortiz , Ignacio Espinoza , José Manuel Rodríguez Naranjo and Nicolás Ardanuy ; All as co-conspirators.
Others are also charged with orchestrating illegal arms exports to Mexico for sale on the black market and were identified as Michael Ozuna Guizar , Roberto Campoy Robles , Luis Guillermo Sendino and Ivan Campoy Morales.
Other defendants are Juan Leopoldo Garate Aguirre of 25 years; José Manuel Rodríguez Naranjo , 39; Miguel Martín Pacheco Martínez , 34; Alberto Martínez Navarro , 36; and Miguel Ángel Moreno from 46.
