The Storm Prediction Center issued a tornado watch for areas of eight states as Wind gusts of more than 70 miles per hour whipped through parts of the Upper Midwest this Wednesday.
According to CNN, the first alert of tornado is for parts of western and central Iowa, northeast Kansas, south central Minnesota , Northwest Missouri , East Nebraska and the extreme southeast of South Dakota .
According to official information, a potentially destructive storm system generated unusually powerful winds that could cause power outages, hamper travel and possibly spawn tornadoes as it moved through parts of the central United States.
