Carla Estrada travels to Miami for Gloria Trevi bioseries casting

One of the most anticipated projects for next year is the bioseries on the life of Gloria Trevi . The production led by the iconic producer Carla Estrada is in casting to find the actresses who will play the singer.

Estrada will travel to Miami, to the Univision studios, to test people who would be interested in being part of the project. It will be the next 14 in the studios of the Hispanic network where the actresses will be able to present themselves.

We are looking for girls between 14 and 25 years “, the producer told us in an interview. “But the girls who are minors are not going to be able to see them in person. They have to register in the mail (below) so that we can communicate with them and contact them and be able to see their talent and capacity. It has to be people who can come to Mexico for a short time, who have the histrionic capacity and who want to participate in the series. ”

What has the public excited about this series is that it will be inspired by the life of Gloria Trevi, one of the most famous singers in Mexico. Much has been said about the life of the interpreter of “Pelo Suelta”, but this would be the first time that her life will be known from her own perspective.

“It is the first time that she speaks and the story is definitely told through Gloria’s eyes, ”explained Estrada. “But it is also told through the girls who were with her, who were her companions in that house. And it is also told by people from her family, by people who were in prison with her – judges, lawyers … all the people who have been involved in the world of Gloria’s life. ”

Estrada also added, “It is an example for us that Gloria, after being in jail, which was one of the saddest and most humiliating things a person can have, re-emerged and has grown again and earned a place with the public.”

The producer already has experience making bioseries and was the one behind titles such as “Por Siempre Joan Sebastián” and “Silvia Pinal Frente a Ti”, both having success both in Mexico and in the United States. United. Estrada tells us that the messages he handles for the Trevi series are universal and people from any part of the world could identify themselves.

it leads through difficult and complicated situations and it depends on you to get ahead, “said the producer of melodramas like” Lazos de Amor “and” Amor Real “. “This problem of sexual abuse and abuse of women (and men too) is a global problem, it is not an exclusive problem of Mexico. What we try to do is that through Gloria’s life we alert people who are close to a similar situation and we can save them ”.
