The case of blackmail with sextape will be the subject of a trial. Karim Benzema is sent to correctional in this case dating from 1303, the Versailles parquet announced on Thursday. The attacker of Real Madrid is suspected for having encouraged his former teammate in the French team, Mathieu Valbuena, then player of the Olympique Lyonnais, to pay blackmailers who threatened to reveal an intimate video featuring him. Four other men are also referred to this case for attempted blackmail and one of them also for breach of trust.
