Telemundo is celebrating the decision to cancel “Parientes a la Fuerza” from primetime and having returned with the transmission of “ Hercai: Amor y Venganza ” (second season). The Turkish soap opera is already the most watched of the Hispanic channel and its soap opera bar has become competitive again with this return.
While a “ Relatives to the Force ”and“ Malverde: The Patron Saint ”had a hard time keeping their audience above a million viewers, while the Turkish series did not have much trouble. The audience has reacted favorably to the soap opera starring Ebru Şahin and Akin Akinözü with this love story that keeps the audience captive.
On Wednesday 24 in November, the series managed to reach 1.1 million viewers in total, the most high of the night on Telemundo. In the adult segment between 18 and 24 years old, the most important for advertisers, Turkish drama scored 322 thousand, again the highest.
“Hercai” remained at 9 pm/8c despite competing with a soccer game on Univision that had an average of 1.3 million in total and 643 thousand in the demo.
Before “Hercai” is “ Por Amor o Por Dinero ”on Telemundo that only managed to accumulate 811 thousand in total and 187 thousand in the demo, something too low for the Hispanic network.
At 10 pm / 9c is “Malverde” who scored 822 thousand in total audience and 314 thousand in demo. This last number is very close to what “Hercai” marked despite having a smaller total audience, which is a good thing for Telemundo since the audience is younger.
