Maryann planned a Thanksgiving dinner weeks in advance but was disappointed on the day of the celebration. He decorated his house, prepared a lot of food and left everything ready in places for eleven people. However, none of his guests arrived and did not even reply to the text messages.
Christian Zamora, said that his girlfriend and her friends were planning the celebration, they all agreed to go and everything was ready, but when the day came, they stopped answering all their posts. She thought they were all late, but after three hours Maryann knew that her friends had planted her and no one would come to the “Friendsgiving” dinner.
Zamora shared images on TikTok in which you can see the decorated room, the tables with tablecloths, plates and cups holidays, but empty places. Maryann appears sad and looking at her phone.

“I’m so sad for her,” he wrote in the clip that went viral and that has more than 15 million views. The caption on the video reads: “My girlfriend was so excited for her first Thanksgiving. But no one showed up… I keep trying to cheer her up, but nothing works. ”
As soon as Christian got the call from Maryann, he did his best to save the situation and make her feel better. The young man decided to call his friends who accepted the invitation and went to dinner.
In the end, the story took a good turn. Zamora says it was a fun night and they had a great time. “They were kind enough to come. They all came and brought things. It’s as if he had his own Thanksgiving Day, it had a happy ending, “said the young man, who updated what had happened through other videos.
The video in which Maryann can be seen devastated received more than 39 thousand messages that shared what they thought about the video. Some sympathized with her, others criticized her friends and others wrote messages of support and with cute words such as: “Where can I request to be her friend?”
Another TikTok user wrote: “Honey, I’m so sorry that happened to you… I would have appeared with you on a jiffy if it were your neighbor ”. While someone else pointed out, “You need new friends. Sorry girl, I wish you all the best. We can be virtual friends. ”
Maryann said that she was disappointed in those who called themselves her friends and that was no longer friends with the people who abandoned her dinner.
