Pregnant woman, her three children and her mother-in-law die in another terrible crash in California

A horrific crash on the I-5 freeway in central California cost the lives of a pregnant woman, her three children and her mother-in-law, when the vehicle crashed in the one who was traveling against a trailer.

The accident occurred just three days after in the same region of Fresno County there was another crash that caused the death of nine people, including seven minors .

Tuesday’s crash happened around 9: 30 pm at Panoche Rd. in the Firebaugh area, near the Fresno and Merced county line.

Authorities indicated that the pickup, possibly Chevrolet 1999, where the family was traveling crossed from the northbound side to the other side of the road , crashing head-on with the carton trailer.

Both vehicles started. The driver of the cargo truck, identified as Antonio Contreras, managed to escape from the vehicle and suffered only minor injuries.

Fresno County forensic authorities said the woman was eight months of pregnancy and that her three children were 10, 8 and 1 years old . Her mother-in-law had 52. It is believed that they were residents of Northern California.

The highway was closed for several hours, at least in the southbound direction. The authorities are investigating the causes of the terrible accident.
