One year after the most important event in world football took place, the former president of FIFA Joseph Blatter assured that it was a mistake to have awarded Qatar the venue for the World Cup.
Since it was decided that Qatar would be the place for the World Cup, there have been many criticisms, due to the adversities that that nation presents in the face of the world party.
Problems such as high temperatures, the size of the country and little infrastructure were brought to the fore since 2010, when it was announced as the venue.

During an interview with Le Monde, Blatter confessed that he was disappointed when he learned that Qatar had been chosen to play the World Cup on 2022.
” I thought that so many contras in Qatar would not jeopardize our agreement in principle to attribute the two World Cups to Russia and the United States , “said the former FIFA president.
Even, Blatter pointed out that the decision to choose Qatar was influenced by the former president of France Nic Sarkozy waves. Apparently he was the one who changed everything.
