HOUSTON – A man who first claimed that his girlfriend had shot herself during an argument, he now faces charges of murder after being accused by the Police of having shot him the woman while the victim’s children were nearby in an apartment.
Harris County Sheriff’s Office Officers arrested Dabreon Banks, of 27 years, this Monday night after officers were called to an apartment complex located on the block 6200 from East Sam Houston Street.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, officers arrived on the scene around 11 pm and found a woman from 24 years lying on the floor with a gunshot wound.
The victim’s boyfriend, who was identified as Banks, initially told investigators that the woman had shot herself while they were having an argument.
