California: one million COVID-19 infections in less than a month to reach 2.5 million total

The effect of the December holidays continues to be reflected in California with high numbers of infections and this Wednesday the state has reached the 2.5 million total coronavirus cases .

Health authorities reported on Wednesday 29, 892 new cases, but with new ones infections throughout the day the figure exceeded 2.5 million according to the Los Angeles Times database .
