Man is shot dead in fight for a soccer game; beatings and bullets were unleashed in a Houston bar

HOUSTON – The CONCACAF Elimination rias matches ended on Friday night, but spirits remained hot among several fans who arrived at a bar in southwest Houston to witness the soccer games that were televised.

After the results, the classic dimes and diretes were unleashed among the fans, and the insults escalated to the extent that hours later a row broke out inside the bar that unfortunately ended in tragedy.

Police Department investigators charged a 40 -year-old Hispanic man with murder, who was he would have been involved in a shooting caused by an argument over a football game.

July Noches Cerna, according to the authorities, was involved in an altercation inside the bar that first came to blows and then to the extent that some of those involved drew firearms.

In the incident, a 34 year-old man, Boris Jackson Colindres Herrera, was shot in the torso. A second victim, Gustov Blanda, 40, was also shot in the chest and is still in critical condition.

The man now accused of murder was arrested at the bar’s premises and handed over to the authorities.

Witnesses said that the insults were escalating and that the fight broke out suddenly in the early hours of Saturday at around 1: 30 am, hours after the games had ended.

The suspect was severely beaten during the fight and after being treated in a hospital he was transferred to the Harris County Jail.
