After a successful passage through the Mexican Sub Team – 23, Jaime Lozano , is waiting of a new professional challenge after obtaining the bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games 2020.

Lozano was on the list of possible candidates to lead the Chivas de Guadalajara, after the departure of Víctor Manuel Vucetich, but now with the continuity of Michel Leaño , the opportunity is still in the air.

In an interview with Azteca Deportes, Jimmy Lozano acknowledged that he would have loved to lead the Chivas, although his arrival did not materialize at the expected time.

Who doesn’t want to direct Chivas? It’s a great team, they have good players. I love that there are Mexican cigars . Without a doubt I would like to lead a big team and Chivas is one of them “, commented the strategist.

After passing through the Mexican National Team Sub 23, Lozano was tested to lead the National Team of Japan , however, he hopes there is an opportunity with a good project to return to the benches next years, although on the part of the Chivas de Guadalajara, the technician who will remain at the helm will be Michel Leaño, ratified by the sports director Ricardo Peláez.

Currently Jaime does not have a job, but is at the waiting for a good project to be able to return to the benches. On the other hand, Ricardo Peláez , sports director of Chivas , confirmed a few days ago that Leaño will remain as coach for this tournament and also for the Clausura 2021.

The Chivas de Guadalajara will play the Liga MX playoff, where they will face Puebla at the Cuauhtémoc Stadium.
