Hispanic suspect in Chicago Halloween shooting that left two dead and 12 injured

Joskar Sebastián Ramos , from 18 years, he was arrested by Chicago police and is identified as the “main suspect” of the shooting in Halloween that left two dead and 12 injured in Joliet Township, southwest of Chicago.

On Sunday, gunmen opened fire at a party at a home in Joliet, killing two people and wounding others 12.

Ramos, who has not yet faced any charges in connection with the weekend’s shooting, according to CBS2, was arrested with an active warrant that occurred when he was a minor.

He was charged with aggravated illicit use of a weapon, obstruction of justice and illegal possession of ammunition.

He is being held on a million dollar bond.

After the shooting, Matthews’s fiancé, Adam Gregurich, told the outlet that he is seeking justice.

A police sergeant said he heard from 10 to 11 shooting in the Jackson and Walnut Street area early Sunday morning, the Will County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.

The officer responded and saw more than 100 people fleeing towards the East on Jackson Street.

Since then, investigators have determined that the shooting took place near a DJ booth installed in the backyard of a house.

Witnesses told detectives that two people shot into the crowd of nearly 200 pers onas from a porch overlooking the party.

One of the gunmen was described as a Hispanic man wearing a red hoodie.

The second attacker was described as a light-skinned man wearing a balaclava and a yellow hoodie.

Two people were pronounced dead in the place, while at least four of the 12 were transferred to local hospitals for treatment for gunshot wounds.

Witnesses told CBS2 how the party quickly turned into a nightmare.

“You could tell that something was going to happen,” said a guest to the party named Nathan. “I never thought my friend was going to die.

“ I only heard people screaming, saying, ‘There are bodies on the ground! People are getting hit! ”Nathan said. “I saw people come out with blood stained hands.”

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
