From October 7, County health authorities began imposing stricter coronavirus vaccination requirements when requesting evidence of counting at least one dose.

“I don’t think there is much confusion about what the county has required and what the city will require, because they are not facing each other. The city also requires exactly the same security measures in bars, lounges, and nightclubs, but there is an alignment there, ”said Bárbara Ferrer, director of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, last week.

As of Monday, November 8 , the city of Los Angeles will require a complete vaccination certificate or a recent negative COVID test – 19 so that residents can enter most indoor public places such as gyms, restaurants, venues entertainment and cafeterias , reported the health authority in an updated statement last Tuesday .

These orders are established by the Department Los Angeles County Public Health Service in its str strategy for containing the spread of the SARS CoV-2 virus .

This Wednesday, the county reported 1, 605 new cases of infections by coronavirus, with 22 deaths related to the disease.
