“Former President Clinton was discharged today. His fever and white blood cell level have returned to normal and he will return to New York to finish his antibiotic treatment, “Amin explained in a statement quoted on Twitter by the ex-president’s spokesman, Ángel Ureña.
“On behalf of everyone at UC Irvine Medical Center, it has been an honor to have treated him and we will continue to monitor his progress,” Amin concluded.

The ex-president planned to fly to New York accompanied by his wife, the former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and their daughter Chelsea, to finish recovering at her home in the New York town of Chappaqua, a family advisor told the newspaper.
Clinton was admitted to the Californian medical center last Tuesday due to an infection of the urinary tract that led to a blood infection known as sepsis, their doctors reported to various media.
The former president’s spokesman did not confirm the news of his hospital admission until Thursday night, a fact that set off alarms about his health, since Clinton has suffered several heart problems in the past.
On 2004 underwent quadruple bypass and 2010 underwent another cardiovascular surgery, but the doctors explained to the CNN chain that the current admission had nothing to do with any problem of co reason.
Clinton remained in the intensive care unit for reasons of “security and privacy”, according to his medical team, who assured on Friday that the former president was “responding well to antibiotics” and fluids that were administered “intravenously.”
The former president was admitted to California because he had traveled there to participate in a private event with his wife, but upon reaching that state she began to feel nauseous and dizzy, so she went to the hospital.
Hillary Clinton, meanwhile, attended the aforementioned private event on behalf of the couple and later went to the hospital, early Friday morning.
US President Joe Biden also phoned Clinton on Friday and wished him a “quick recovery ”, reported the White House.
Clinton is one of four former US presidents still alive, along with Donald Trump (2017 – 2021), Barack Obama (2004 – 2017), George W. Bush (2001 – 2004) and Jimmy Carter (1977 – 1993 ).
That last one is, to your 97 years, the longest-lived president in the history of the United States.
