Second explosion in Mexico in less than a week leaves no injuries

This Friday an explosion was recorded in Puebla, in central Mexico. An unknown person left a package next to a vehicle parked in front of a house, moments later the detonation occurred that did not leave dead or injured, according to local authorities.

It is the second explosion by a package bomb that occurs in Mexico in less than a week. A few days ago a detonation in Guanajuato, that left two people dead and four injured .

The first official version said that the explosion could have been caused by a gas leak. However, a security camera captured the moment when a man dressed in blue dropped an artifact next to the vehicle parked on the street, shortly after the detonation occurs.

“It was learned that, outside a home, he found a box itself that detonated and caused material damage; no injured persons were reported ”, reads a statement from the Ministry of Citizen Security of the municipality of Puebla (SSC) .
