Benjamín Mollinedo Montie aka the Panther , an alleged member of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG) and Huachicolero leader , was captured by elements of the Mexican Army in the municipality of Ciudad del Carmen, in the state of Campeche in Mexico.
It was considered by the Mexican Armed Forces as one of the priority objectives in the Combat of Hydrocarbon Theft and its detection was in the street 55 , corner with Avenida Framboyanes in Flamboyanes subdivision thanks to an operation of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) through an operation in which they also participated agents of the National Guard (GN), the Attorney General’s Office (FGR), as well as ministerial, state and municipal Police.

The Pantera was allegedly the in charge of the plaza of the municipalities of Huimanguillo and Cárdenas.
Among the homicides awarded to him are the execution of public officials, as well as the murder of his main enemy Andrés Rodríguez Vasconcelos, alias el Kalimba, who was assassinated on December 4, 2020.
