Police arrested suspect of stabbing to death of Hispanic woman in Los Angeles neighborhood

A man from 27 year old was arrested Saturday by Santa Monica police on suspicion of murdering a Hispanic woman in Sylmar last week.

Alejandro Balsells was detained by police officers and was transferred to the custody of the Los Angeles Police Department .

Balsells was reportedly under arrest on a $ 2 million bond .

The night of 7 September, the body of Virginia Cantero, of 36 years , was found at her Sylmar home by her husband and three children when they were returning from a trip to Mexico.

Virginia Cantero was the victim of a “violent homicide”, but they did not force the door of his house. What is known about the death of a Hispanic woman in Sylmar.

Los Angeles Police identified the victim as Virginia Cantero , while the coroner’s office noted the name as Virginia Luna .

The Hispanic mother was alone when her family came back from a weekend trip and found her dead rta, a detective reported.

A vehicle was missing at the family home, and authorities were investigating whether he had a possible connection to a police chase that occurred that same night in the Hollywood area .

The car was later found and tests were carried out for possible evidence to aid the investigations.

According to the coroner’s report, the mother of the family died from a stab wound to the neck .

The Hispanic woman appeared to have been dead for several days before she was found.
