Apple presented this Tuesday the new version of its popular smartphone, the iPhone 13 , which was one of several device announcements made during a virtual event from its headquarters in Cupertino, California.
The presentation happens in protests against the controversial plan that would seek to scan iPhones to locate images of child abuse.
Among the devices that were also presented by Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO who has been at the helm of for a decade, is a Refurbished iPad and an updated version of your iPad Mini .
Two new iPads, including the renewed Mini version
Apple also presented this Tuesday its updates to its iPad line , with new versions of its basic model. co from $ 329 dollars and a refurbished iPad Mini starting at $ 499 dollars .
The cheapest iPad in Apple receives an update with an A processor 13 faster and better front camera than 12 megapixels to enhance video calls, as in Zoom. It has a wider lens to capture more people in the same scene and can have an LTE wireless connection.
Apple mentions that the new iPad Mini, which will feature with an 8.3 inch touch screen , it will be a 80% faster than previous model.
The tablet will include an update to its cameras, compatibility with the second generation of Apple Pencil and support for 5G wireless networks.
The basic iPad will keep the same design and price, but will have more storage starting at 64 GB and will add a front camera of 12 megapixels with support for Center Stage, a feature of the iPad Pro models that can automatically detect and follow who is on the screen.

The iPad mini has an aluminum casing , uses tin and rare earth elements 100% recycled magnets on the case and speakers.
The Touch ID sensor has been integrated into the top button that turns the screen on and off. It also uses a USB-C connector, instead of Apple’s Lightning connector. It can support a 5G wireless connection. Works with the second generation Apple Pencil stylus.
The new iPad models will be available from 24 of September.
