Hispanic man arrested for stabbing security guard in Anaheim

A Hispanic man was arrested for stabbing to death a security guard in Anaheim , reported the authorities.

Andrew Isaiah Godínez, of 24 years and a resident of the area, attacked and killed shortly after 10 pm Friday to Joseph Paul Gómez , 46, resident of Tustin, nearby of a mall on Lincoln Avenue.

Gomez worked as a security guard at the area and had a few weeks in employment, according to information from his family.

The authorities mentioned that everything indicates what e the attack was not provoked .

Andrew Isaiah Godínez was arrested near the scene of the attack , while Joseph Paul Gómez was transferred to a hospital, where he later died of his injuries. .

Anaheim police indicated that Godínez is homeless and early investigations do not revealed if any kind of confrontation occurred prior to the attack.
