At the first gala of ‘Así Se Baila’ , there were several dances that stood out, but without a doubt the most sensual, was the tango performed by David Chocarro and Carolina Laursen .
And we say ‘they performed’, because in truth they not only danced it, but, as one of the judges said, Cristián de la Fuente, they told a love story through it .
It is precisely that rhythm he has with his true love story, because David and Carolina met on a trip to Italy , both, who until then had not had a relationship, were hired by a modeling agency to work in a nightclub.
There they fell in love and decided to travel part of Italy dancing tango , yes a choreography that they put together between them. From then on, the tango accompanied them during the 20 years of relationship .
They danced it at their wedding and even Carolina wrote a play, ‘El Tango de la Injusticia’, in which David starred .
Last night, they relived part of the story of their lives on the track of ‘Así se Baila’, and was not only so sensual, but so real, that the other judges, Adamari López and Mariana Seoan could not avoid crying.
Neither did her own Carolina, who with tears in her eyes said that the emotion came for that very reason, because the rhythm was the love story of both.
The performance so emotional and sensual managed to be one of the two best couples on the track , and although the title of ‘the golden couple’ in the first gala was taken by L orenzo Méndez and Jessica Díaz , they were able to choose who will be the duel next week . To whom? Elyfer Ferrer and Polo Monárrez.
