“Yes, but very small, it is a civic commemoration, in Mexico the night of the Scream is one of the most important festivities, I would say that it is the most important civic festival, because Christmas is the festivity religious that is most celebrated in the family, but civically it is the night of 15, that there is a reunion in the families and everyone puts their flags and the Shout is given and we have to continue dand or the Cry of Independence ”, he argued.

For this one 15 September 2021, everything indicates that for the second consecutive year the third Cry of Independence by Andrés Manuel López Obrador will be held with an empty Zócalo.
“ That Scream represents a lot, we are seeing how we are going to commemorate it as that day is going to be celebrated, I assure you that in their homes most of the Mexicans will be able to participate, they will be able to notice everything that is going away to do, the program, everything complete “, he pointed out in a morning conference.
The Mexican president pointed out that for the night of 15 of next September the presence of the replica of an Aztec pyramid will be kept on the plate of the capital’s Zócalo, because the commemorations for the 500 years of indigenous resistance and the 700 years of the founding of Tenochtitlán.
“That’s why The replica of the pyramid will be left, but we will complement it with the Independence movement to honor Hidalgo, Morelos, Allende, Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez, Leona Vicario and Mexican music for those of us who live in our Country and for our Mexican countrymen who live in the United States and in other countries ”, he pointed out.
The Mexican president reported that the days 15 and 16 September morning conferences are canceled for the national festivities among which is the Cry of Independence and the Military Parade.
