The tax preparation company H&R Block reported through its social networks this Monday that some of its clients are not receiving the second stimulus check distributed by the IRS due to an error between the temporary account and the official bank deposit account.

The distribution schedule of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Treasury Department started last week with deposits to bank accounts of the beneficiaries that supplied that information to the agencies.

However, the people who turned to H&R Block to present the tax information will have to wait longer, since the money was deposited in Bank accounts that are not official taxpayers.

According to the tax company, some of the clients who have used the IRS tool “Get My Payment” have seen that the account number to which the payment was deposited is not theirs.

The redirection to the temporary account affects consumers who used the option of “Refund Transfer” or “Refund Transfer” in the 2019.

At the moment, H&R Block investigates why the above happened.

The IRS Get My Payment website may display an account number you don’t recognize. If you took a Refund Transfer, it may be reflecting that account number. Check your 2019 return to confirm.

“If you took a ‘refund transfer’ it may be reflecting that account number. Check your tax return from 2020 to confirm. But don’t worry – we’ve sent these payments by the method of your choice for the refund transfer: direct deposit, check, or Emerald Card. The money should be available by the end of the day ”, reads one of the firm’s publications on its Twitter account.

However, the News Center report Maine indicates that the above had not materialized for some at the end of yesterday or that they only received part of the money.

The IRS has indicated in recent press releases that in case of not receiving by 15 “Economic Impact Payment” must claim it as a credit when you file the tax return this year .
