Harvey Weinstein denies trying to sexually assault Angelina Jolie

In his last interview with the newspaper The Guardian , Angelina Jolie has spoken once more about the old employment relationship he had with the producer Harvey Weinstein , to reveal that on one occasion he had to “run away” from one of their encounters when he began to display a behavior that could not be defined as a mere flirtation or a clumsy attempt at seduction.

The actress wanted to share her experience to insist that the fact that a sexual assault did not occur does not mean that the whole experience was less painful and traumatic for her. Moreover, Angelina has recognized that the decision of her ex-husband Brad Pitt from working on Weinstein’s projects – even knowing what he had tried do to him- contributed in large part to the deterioration of their marriage, because they argued non-stop about it.

Now the old king midas of the film mecca, who is currently serving his sentence for assault and rape, has responded to the testimony of the famous actress through a public statement released by his representative, in which he accuses her of seeking only publicity while sponsoring his new book. “There was never any aggression, nor was there any attempted aggression,” starts his message, in which he indirectly acknowledges having “interested” in her, although not in a way that could be considered inappropriate. “You are Angelina Jolie , I am sure that every man and woman in this world has shown interest in you. Have you been attacked by the rest of the world? ”He added.
