Janae Gagnier’s funeral will be held this Saturday in the Rosenberg area. The model best known on Instagram as “Miss Mercedes Morr” was found dead inside her apartment in Richmond.
Investigators said the victim was beaten and strangled allegedly by a man who entered the apartment and beat her to death. The body of the attacker was found by the victim’s father on the second floor of the apartment with a knife stuck in the neck. Researchers believe the man was a Gagnier fan.
The man was identified as Kevin Alexander Accorto, from 34 years, from Florida. Investigators have not provided further details on a possible motive, but the victim’s father said that phrases of apologies and declarations of love had been written on the walls and doors of a room.
Apparently there was no a relationship between Gagnier and Accorto, according to researchers.
Investigators said that Accorto beat Gagnier and then strangled her, then killed himself with a knife by sticking it in the back of his neck.
Gagnier’s funeral has been scheduled this Saturday of 10 am to 1 pm at the Davis Greenlawn Funeral Chapel facility located on the block 3900 from Terry Street in Rosenberg. Organizers have reported that there will first be an exclusive service for the family before it opens to the public.
At 7: 30 pm a vigil is scheduled this Friday at 7: 30 pm at Terry Hersey Park located on the 15200 block of Memorial Street in Houston.
