Thief seriously injured after crashing car he just robbed in the Bronx

Williamsbridge A car thief was seriously injured when he crashed the vehicle he had just stolen in The Bronx (NYC), injuring an occupant of another car .

The event happened less than half a mile from where the car, a Honda Civic, had been stolen. white, on East 216 th Street and Bronxwood Avenue, Williamsbridge, around 1: 30 am yesterday.

The unidentified suspect is a young man between 20 and 30 years, police said. It rolled only about seven blocks before crashing into a blue Hyundai sedan, driven by a woman from 23 years.

The alleged thief was hospitalized in serious condition and the woman in stable condition, reported New York Post.
