15-year-old Hispanic man killed in shooting in a central California county town

A Hispanic teenager of 15 years died this Sunday night victim of a gunshot in the town of Visalia , in Tulare County, in central California.

At 7: 30 pm, Ángel Mojarro was with friends at the corner of Santa Fe and Kaweah Avenue when he was murdered .

Visalia police reported that officers responded to a call for a shooting on the block 700 of E. Myrtle Avenue.

When they arrived at the scene, they found Mojarro with a firearm injury, so he was transferred to Kaweah Health Medical Center, where he later died due to injuries .

The authorities indicated that the Violent Crimes Unit took over the investigations with the help of the Execution Unit Special ion and the Criminalistics Laboratory.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown.

Ignacio Mojarro, de Ángel’s older brother and who was at the scene of the shooting, opened a page of GoFundMe to request the collaboration of the community in the face of the problem that the family is experiencing.

In his writing on the page, Ignacio said that Angel was fatally attacked by a monster in the form of a man .

He mentioned that it was not a direct attack against Angel and that it could have happened to any child, that he was in the wrong place and time.

“He was a boy from 15 years I dreamed of buying build a house for my mother one day, ”Ignacio wrote.
