The same team announced through an official statement on Twitter that the forward trained in the lower categories of the club, Ansu Fati, will wear the number 10 from of this season.
Finally, Fati was chosen after other footballers such as Philippe Coutinho and Frankie de Jong were also aspiring to inherit the number, but they ended up opting for other numbers.

Ansu Fati is considered one of the club’s great hopes with an immediate present and an even more promising future, however, he has had very bad luck with injuries, as he suffered a serious injury to the internal meniscus of his left knee that kept him away for 10 months from the fields. He even had to undergo surgery three times, but fortunately he is in the final phase of his recovery.
Fati wore the number 22 last season and despite having only 18 years, already disputed 43 official matches in the first team where he managed to score in 13 opportunities and distributed 5 assists.
